Applications now open: oF Board Member

The Osteopathic Foundation are delighted to announce that they are seeking multiple new Board Members to sit on the Board of the Foundation. The Osteopathic Foundation (oF) is a registered charity which raises and administers funds in support of all aspects of UK Osteopathic development, education, research, promotion and practice for the benefit of public health. The oF fund research and education activities through their grant-giving programmes and since 2000, have distributed over £1 million of support to advance osteopathic practice for public benefit.

The new Board Members will bring vast experience and a practical attitude to the Foundation along with a positive and proactive approach to creating long-lasting change. The oF welcomes applications from those with a proven track record in one or more of the following: finances, business acumen, legal management and/or fundraising, in relation to charities.

 

Please note that osteopathic or medical experience is not a prerequisite of the role, but the ideal candidate will possess self-awareness and curiosity surrounding the profession.

 

The closing date for applications is close of business on Friday 17 May.

 

Interviews will take place in early June.

 The Board meet at least quarterly. Its appointed members have a broad spectrum of senior osteopathic and general health experience, as well as management and governance skills to ensure the Foundation grows and evolves in line with its charitable aims.
