Tim Walker

Tim Walker has been Chief Executive and Registrar of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) since November 2010. Prior to his appointment with the GOsC, he worked for the General Medical Council, as a public affairs consultant, in broadcasting and as a ministerial special adviser in Whitehall.

Tim is currently Chair of the Trustees of the National Council for Osteopathic Research (NCOR) and is also active in supporting the development of osteopathy in the UK and internationally through the Osteopathic Development Group and the Osteopathic Alliance.

As well as his work with the GOsC, NCOR and the Osteopathic Foundation, Tim is also Chair of Trustees for an artists’ studio complex and project space close to where he lives in North West London.
