Danny Orchard

Since graduating thirteen years ago, Daniel has been active in promoting osteopathy both within the profession and to the general public. He set up his first practice in 2007, in Cambridgeshire and following this he soon came to realise that some people weren’t receptive to osteopathy, citing a lack of evidence on its effectiveness and a historical bias from the medical community.

Daniel restarted the once dormant Cambridge Osteopathic Group (COG) and used his newly appointed position as a lecturer at the UCO (formerly BSO) to provide free CPD to local osteopaths, with the goal of uniting the profession and ensuring a consistency in the knowledge and terminology used amongst the osteopathic community. Daniel is the director and trustee of the Centre for Osteopathic Research and Excellence (CORE).
