Apply for two new posts at The British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM)

 

BCOM is looking to recruit for two new positions:

Lecturer in Paediatrics (1.5hrs per week)

Teaching on the  undergraduate Masters in Osteopathy degree. This role includes: 

· Provision of weekly lectures over 36 weeks of academic year 

· Preparation, delivery and marking of assessments 

· Review of curriculum and module documents 

The role would be suitable for either a Registered Osteopath or other medical professional with further postgraduate paediatrics training. If applying as a Registered Osteopath, you may also wish to consider applying for the role of Paediatric Clinical Tutor which is being advertised concurrently. 

Post graduate paediatric qualifications are essential; previous lecturing experience is preferred but not essential. Salary competitive and commensurate to experience. 

Paediatric Clinical Tutor (3.5/4hrs per week)

To supervise undergraduate practitioners in our outpatient paediatric teaching clinic. 

Post graduate paediatric qualifications and an ability to take a structural approach to treatment are essential; previous tutoring experience is preferred but not essential. 

 

Interested candidates may wish to apply for both roles, which could be undertaken by the same individual, or just one role, depending on preference.
