iO SUPPORTS STUDENT RECRUITMENT
The iO team is attending a series of UCAS careers events throughout June to encourage attendees to choose osteopathy as a rewarding and viable career pathway. They will have a presence at the UCAS events in East London, Bedford and Birmingham and look forward to meeting prospective students at these fairs.
A joint prospectus outlining osteopathy courses, developed by Nikky Godfrey at the Council of Osteopathic Educational Institutions (COEI), will be made available to prospective attendees with clear, accessible information on training routes and opportunities within the field.

CEO Alison Robinson-Canham said: “We are excited to be attending these events. We are committed to supporting the future of the osteopathic profession by helping to grow student numbers. UCAS events provide an invaluable platform to connect with prospective students, share our expertise and inspire the next generation of osteopaths.”
This initiative forms part of the iO’s broader strategic focus on strengthening student recruitment in response to declining enrolment numbers. Over the coming months, activity in this area will increase, with a continued emphasis on offering practical guidance and reinforcing support across the academic sector.”
