iO Awards 2020

Despite the challenges faced during 2020, the iO is committed to celebrating the best the profession has to offer.

To reflect the changing landscape of recent months we have adapted this year’s awards. We will have two awards for which we are seeking nominations.

  • Community of Practice
  • Outstanding Care During COVID

We will still be acknowledging the rising stars of the future – with an award made by each of the undergraduate colleges to one of their outstanding graduates of 2020.

The iO Council will also be announcing its choice for this year’s iO President’s Medal.

You can submit a nomination for both the Community of Practice and the Outstanding Care During COVID award for yourself or nominate someone else.

Email your entries to comms@iOsteopathy.org by the 26 October.

This year’s awards will be judge by a panel consisting of representatives from all the main stakeholder groups in Osteopathy. The nominations are considered under a scoring system by our awards panel which will be held at the start of November. The winners will be announced at this years iO Annual General Meeting on the 20 November.

Community of Practice

This award celebrates either new or existing community groups who made an outstanding contribution to the support of osteopaths by showing innovation and adaptability in challenging times, maintaining a network to offer support, communication and/or learning opportunities.
