This year, we have four candidates standing for election; from which two new council members will be elected by members at the iO Annual General Meeting at 3pm on 29 October 2021. Diverse in experience, discover what motivates each of them and their aspirations for the iO, our members and the profession.
Each candidate has submitted their supporting statement for you to read, detailing their skills, motivations for joining our council and their aspirations for how they hope to contribute and drive forward the profession.

How to vote for your chosen candidate
Voting will be at the virtual AGM event, Friday 29th October. Register in advance for this meeting here.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
If you are unable to attend the virtual AGM, you may assign someone to vote on your behalf at the event. If you do not know anyone that is attending the event you many nominate the iO’s Chief Executive, Maurice Cheng as a proxy to cast your chosen vote at the AGM
Official notice of the AGM including a proxy form for completion, should you not be able to attend, will be issued to all members at the beginning of October.
Voting for members of council and other matters arising at the AGM is by full iO Members only.
