This is a highly practical course and will explain the use of K-Tape in the clinical environment. Techniques covered will include upper and lower limbs, back, neck and shoulder.
The learning outcomes would be:
- To gain an understanding of the reasons why tape is used in clinic (introductory talk).
- To gain the ability to differentiate between different types of tape, when and why one tape is used over another.
- To understand the use of taping supplies (adjuncts to taping such as scissors, adhesives, tape remover etc.).
- To practice a number of K-taping techniques on a variety of body areas applicable to the clinical environment.
