CHOOSING OSTEOPATHY
My main catalyst was a spinal injury I sustained when boxing. I was incredibly impressed with the osteopath who treated me. But I also, unfortunately, had two good friends die from cancer when I was 16 and 18. Their deaths really clarified to me how short life can be, and that a life of pain is incredibly inhibited in comparison to a life lived of good physical health. I wanted to help people live the lives they want to live.
STUDYING OSTEOPATHY
Osteopathy is as hard and as awarding as you would like to make it.. so my advice is to make it hard and rewarding. Do not coast.

“I want to help people live the lives they want to live. … every day is different, but as a result is rewarding

MY CAREER PATH
I currently run a 2,000 square foot multi-disciplinary clinic with an onsite gym and four treatment rooms. Osteopathy is a turbulent career – every day is different, but as a result is rewarding.
WHO I WORK WITH
I enjoy treating chronic pain, patients with mental health support and sporting injuries. I also work to improve the infrastructure of my Clinic where we have a mental health clinic and fitness studio.
THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING AN OSTEOPATH IS...
The great depth of the scope to practice we can have.
MY ADVICE TO THOSE WANTING TO STUDY OSTEOPATHY
Be the best osteopath you can be. Keep evidence and science as the parameters to your practice but develop deep and meaningful relationships with your patients. Become invested in them and their goals.
