Amy Crompton wins Associate of the Year at national osteopathic awards

Graduate osteopath Amy Crompton was named this year’s Associate of the Year winner at the Institute of Osteopathy’s (iO) prestigious annual awards ceremony on Saturday, 22 November. Due to the strong field this year, the judges also decided to Highly Commend Callum Smith.
This award recognises newly qualified osteopaths and celebrates those making significant contributions to patient care, professional development, and community wellbeing.
Dr Alison Robinson Canham, Chief Executive of the Institute of Osteopathy, said:

“The Associate of the Year Award showcases the remarkable talent of young osteopaths entering the profession. Amy showed exceptional commitment and clear development in her clinical work. This year’s group of associates was particularly strong, with Amy’s effort, progress, and contribution standing out.”
Amy, who practises at Northallerton Osteopaths at Hale House in Yorkshire, graduated with a first-class Masters’ degree from the European School of Osteopathy in 2024. During her studies, Amy has continually expanded her expertise by completing training in both Sports Massage and Acupuncture & Dry Needling. She is also keen to further her professional development in Cranial Osteopathy and Paediatrics.
Amy enjoys treating a wide range of complaints and patients of all ages. She applies osteopathic techniques tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
Northallerton were also Highly Commended as UK Large Practice of the Year in 2025 (taking the top prize in 2024), so the two make a winning combination. The practice was excited by her award: “We’re beyond thrilled that our very own Amy Crompton took home Associate of the Year, a well-deserved recognition of her hard work, dedication, and the incredible care she brings to our patients.

Amy expressed her gratitude for the recognition:
